It works by recording a sample of your voice and allowing the user to experiment using professional audio tools and optional AI assistance.

Those transitioning from male to female put a large vocal strain on heightening the pitch of their voice.
Since 2020, Covid-19 has drastically heightened our use and now demand of digital meetings.
VOXO aims to alleviate this physical strain while also providing a digital tool to cultivate one's voice in a safe virtual environment for online calls and meetings.

The brief set by ASUS was "What do Gen-Z want from their personal computing?"
My initial research explored the gender representation in AI and virtual assistants as they were predominantly female - Alexa, Siri, Cortana etc.
Then it lead to representation in tech - as this is important to Gen-Z. Finally I landed on the insight that "Gen-Z care far more about having the tools to accurately represent themselves, rather than being represented accurately (by vessels like AI)"
So I furthered my user research and came to design digital representational tools for primarily trans folk to cultivate their voices, but also to alleviate physical vocal strain for digital spaces.
