A series of AI Projects and Experiments focusing on Culture, Identity and Fun.

  • Make the Internet Cool Again
    Radically redesigned the Google Search experience, in response to previous research on how AI search is dismantling the current business model for web pages, creating a new system focused on creation, encouraging users to create easy-to-make websites via new vibecoding tools.

  • AI x Your Friends: Collaborative Identity Curation
    Designed an app where friends help curate your digital identity, with AI helping refine and surface the most authentic version of you.


  • Designing AI UX that doesn’t dismantle the Independece of the Web
    Explored how AI Search undermines the current business model of the web by diverting traffic from independent websites.


Policylab | AI Designer
2023 - 2024

Explored how AI can shape future public services. Designed and prototyped experimental tools within the UK GOVS Policy Innovation Lab.

  • Demonstrated how AI could support research, ideation and policy development processes.

  • Experimented with AI in policy design.

  • showcased creative use-cases of AI.

  • Explored AI across areas such as satellite infrastructure and education technology.

  • Delivered workshops across government introducing teams to new AI capabilities.
  • Demonstrated how AI could support research, ideation and policy development processes.
  • Prototyped creative applications of frontier AI tools for policy teams.



ASUS | Collaborative Project
2022

Designed an AI voice tool for trans and transitioning people to explore their voice in a safe digital space.

  • Researched history of AI in Culture then Gender Representation in AI Assistants being predominantly female e.g. Siri, Alexa, Cortana.

  • Held user interviews with transitioning users to find key and valued features.

  • Mocked and wireframed design with the ASUS' design teams support.



Kano Computing + STEM Player | Collaborative Project
2021

Designed, Coded and Fabricated a faceless wallclock that communicates approximate time through colour, encouraging a healthier relationship with productivity in the work-from-home era.

  • Coded interactive display and multi sensor functions pre-chatgpt
  • Currently developing the product for market with a design founder



My Powerbank | Self Initiated Project
2021 - 2023

Designed and engineered a freely rechargeable dynamo based power bank specifically for those experiencing homeless in London to charge their mobile devices.

  • Worked with charities and rough sleepers to understand barriers to device charging for people experiencing homelessness.
  • Designed, prototyped, and built a working dynamo-powered charging device.
  • Recognised with multiple design awards for social innovation.
  • Eventually approached by Santander for real-world implementation following public interest.
